MPs to debate A303 Stonehenge tunnel plans
MPs will debate plans today to move the A303 into a new tunnel under Stonehenge.
The tunnel is one of several ideas being considered to upgrade the road.
A public consultation into the plans closed in April.
Highways England says the project will 'enhance and protect' the ancient site but opponents argue the idea could destroy archeological treasures.
The latest plans were unveiled earlier this year.
