Overseas tourists boost the Poldark effect in Cornwall

Businesses in Cornwall say they're seeing a boost in the number of tourists from overseas because of the so-called Poldark effect.

The TV series has already been a big hit in America and is now being shown in over 40 countries around the world - creating a legion of super-fans keen to see where it's filmed.

But not everything that's come from the so-called 'Poldark-effect' has been welcomed with such open arms after the cost of parking at certain filming locations has been increased.
