Aggressive swan causing mayhem for kayakers

Angry Albert - as he's named locally - has been accused of sinking a kayak while protecting his partner called Victoria.

The swan adopts an aggressive pose and then swims around people using the canal to attack them.

Regular canal users say 'Angry Albert's' favourite trick is to let people think they're getting away from him, and then he flies towards them after about eighty metres.

As the swan's cygnets grow older, 'Angry Albert' is becoming less angry and is beginning to calm down.

But the royal couple will continue to reign over the waters.
