Ugborough Church has its bells recast

One of South Hams' most iconic churches has had its historic bells re-cast, at the last remaining foundry of its kind in the country.

Eight bells were removed from Ugborough Parish Church's tower last month, after one of them developed a crack.

Some of the bells at the church date back to the eighteenth century.

Parishoners are hoping to have them re-installed by the Autumn.
