Warning of barbed wire strung up in Wiltshire woods

A number of strings of barbed wire have been strung up between trees in a plantation on Salisbury Plain near Bravo Crossing at Netheravon. The problem was reported on 16 May 2018

Initial enquiries carried out by the MOD have established this was not part of any Military exercise and it is suspected that it was done deliberately to deter off-road motorcyclists.

Anyone with information related to the individuals who have placed the barbed wire or any further items which may cause harm to off-roaders, is asked to call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
