Upfest teams up with The Simpsons to bring famous characters to Bristol

Famous characters from The Simpsons will appear on walls across Bristol at this year's graffiti festival Upfest.

Street art creations of Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Homer and Marge will be created in Bedminster and Southville.

Three artists have been selected by the TV shows creator Matt Groening to bring his iconic characters to life.

Upfest is the largest free street art event in Europe which sees over 400 artists painting at 50 venues across the city.

Around 50,000 people are expected to visit the 10th annual festival and walk around the city to see the work being created.
