Thieves steal wheels off children's charity minibus

All six of the wheels on a charity minibus were stolen in plain sight of CCTV in Paignton, Devon.

The bus is used daily to collect pupils from local schools for the YMCA’s daily after-school club.

It is also used for holiday club trips supported by the YMCA, based at Clennon Valley.

The charity has said it's devastated by what happened.

Its CEO, Maria Goodwin has told ITV News the CCTV footage has been handed over to Police and has praised "the generosity of the public".

Motor company, Denbury Diesels, based in Newton Abbott, have said they will donate six new wheels as replacements.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Police on 101 quoting crime number CR/037445/18.
