Local council elections 2018 - Swindon
Council elections are being held on Thursday 3 May 2018. In Swindon, a third of the 57 seats are up for election - with 19 wards being contested.
Councillors are elected for four years, and a third of councillors face election in any one year.

Swindon is trialling the use of voter ID along with four other councils in England (Woking, Gosport, Bromley and Watford).
Anyone who lives and votes in Swindon will be required to bring their poll card as a form of identification (ID) to vote in the local elections on 3 May 2018.
Polling stations are open between 7am and 10pm.
