Appeal after boy with cerebral palsy has wheelchair and walker stolen

The family of a nine-year-old boy with cerebral palsy, have released new pictures to try and track down his stolen wheelchair and walker.

Jaye Cook from Kingswood in South Gloucestershire cannot walk without his frame and struggles to get around school without his wheelchair.

The items were taken from the front garden of his mother's house on Saturday, 31 March, when the car was being unloaded after a day out.

His mother Mel originally put out an appeal on Facebook for the thieves to return them but so far they have not been found.

A fundraising page was also set up to raise money for a replacement wheelchair and walking frame. It has already raised over £5,000.

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for anyone who might have seen them or has information about their whereabouts to contact them.
