An amateur photographer from Bristol has published a stunning timelapse video showcasing the city - which took more than two years to make.

Xavier Legros built his own motion-controlled camera slider and had to repeatedly return to the same locations before getting the perfect shots. He recorded 23 hours of material before painstakingly editing it down to just 3 minutes.

Xavier said, "I discovered beautiful places around Bristol I never knew existed and it gave me the opportunity to interact with many, many people."
