Bristol Metrobus service to launch next month

First Bristol says it will start operating the m3 Metrobus Service from 29 May, making Bristol the first city outside London that has a fast, ‘buy before you board’ only service.

The m3 Metrobus service will operate from the new Lyde Green Park & Ride and will call at:

  • Bristol & Bath Science Park

  • Emerald Park Industrial Estate

  • UWE

  • Cabot Circus

  • The city centre.

Customers must buy a ticket for journeys before boarding and won't be able to pay the driver. First says this will speed up journeys and more information will become available closer to the start of operations.

The company says to celebrate the opening it will be offering free travel to passengers until 9th June.
