Corbyn backs Debbonaire

Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn has backed Bristol West MP Thangam Debbonaire as she faces censure after attending a protest in Westminster.

The demonstration called for more to be done to rid politics of anti-semitism.

Debbonaire was among a number of MPs from various parties who went to the event.

Some members of the Bristol West MP's local Labour party have called on her to explain her attendance because they say the rally was critical of the Labour leader.

Corbyn visited Swindon today and took the opportunity to support Debbonaire.

Debbonaire says she attended the rally in solidatory with Jewish friends and colleagues.
