More than a thousand people came together in Swindon to celebrate the Hindu Holi festival.

Also known at the 'Festival of Colours, it's celebrated throughout the world with the throwing of colourful paints and water.

The festival traditionally marks the end of winter and the start of spring and is a celebration of unity.

The festival celebrations were meant to happen 3 weeks ago but it had to be postponed because of the snow.
