Child Sexual Exploitation victim tells her story as referrals to support charity rise

A teenager from Bristol has described how being groomed online destroyed her life and made her suicidal. She spoke to us as police say the issue of child sexual exploitation is now such a concern, they've set up dedicated units to catch those responsible.

And Barnardo's has a specific team to help victims - it says its seen a 38 per cent increase in the number of young people being referred to the charity in the last year.

Eli-Louise Wringe has been hearing from one victim of the so called 'hidden crime.'
