Storm Emma destroys Devon coastal road

The A379 in Devon is closed between Torcross, Slapton and Strete, ferocious waves battered the road over the last few days.

Parts of the road have fallen away completely while the rest is covered in shingle and debris thrown up by the sea and high winds.

The South-West is among the worst affected areas by Storm Emma.
