Flights cancelled or delayed due to heavy snow

  • Nearly every flight from Bristol Airport cancelled

  • All flights to and from Exeter Airport have been cancelled

Heavy snowfall has threatened air, rail and road journeys for many across the South West.

The Met Office has also increased its amber weather warning to a red 'risk to life' in parts of Somerset, North Devon and Devon.

As a result, the airline Flybe, has cancelled all its scheduled flights to and from Exeter Airport after 3pm today (1 March).

They have apologised to all customers affected but say "the safety of our passengers and crew remains our number one priority at all times."

Anyone due to travel today from Exeter should are being advised not to travel to the airport.

Snow across Europe and the UK has caused disruption to most flights from Bristol Airport.

Passengers are being advised to check with their airline prior to making their way to the airport.
