Serial killer 'may be about to confess' to killing Gloucestershire woman

A French newspaper is reporting that the serial killer Michel Fourniret may be about to confess to killing Joanna Parrish from Newnham on Severn in Gloucestershire.

Le Figaro says the killer has admitted to "crossing the path " of Joanna, whose body was found in the Burgundy region of france in 1990. She'd been working in local schools as part of her degree course.

Her father Roger says tonight that his legal representative in France is looking into the reports.
