Young gymnast from Devon crowned English champion

A young gymnast from Devon has been crowned English overall Espoir Champion at the English Gymnastics Championships.

Ruby Stacey, 12, from Tavistock won her age group after coming first in the bar, second on floor and third on beam.

Ruby trains twenty hours a week at Plymouth Swallows Gym, is already in the South West Elite squad and was in the GB development team last year.

Her ultimate ambition is to represent her country at the Olympic games.
