Man arrested after young mum killed in Nailsea
A murder investigation is underway after a young woman was killed at a house in North Somerset.
Young mum Claire Tavener, 27, was pronounced dead by paramedics at Brendon Gardens in Nailsea.
Officers were called to the property just before 7am on Monday (8th Jan) following reports of an injured woman.
A 45-year-old man was arrested shortly after at Nailsea train station for what police say is a "related incident".
He's now in custody for questioning and police say they aren't looking for anyone else in connection with the murder.
The man was also treated for injuries in hospital, police say those injuries aren't related to Claire Tavener's death.
