Men charged with murder following stabbing at Bristol nightclub

Two men have been charged with the murder of a man who was attacked in a Bristol nightclub, police have said.

Ian Power, 39, and Errol Anderson, 55, are accused of killing Jamel Powell, 37, who died following a disturbance at the Blue Mountain Club in Bristol on 30 December.

Power, of Gloucester, and Anderson, of Bristol, are due to appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court today, 2nd January, over Mr Powell's death, Avon and Somerset Police said.

Two other men have been charged over the 3am incident at the club in the Stokes Croft area of Bristol, detectives said.

Rafiki Powell, 30, and Meikel Powell, 29, have both been charged with grievous bodily harm after a 55-year-old man was assaulted outside the club a short time after Mr Powell was attacked.

They are due to appear at the same court today, 2nd January.
