Cheltenham Town will wear a blue home kit for the first time ever when they host Crewe tomorrow, rather than their usual red and white.

The Robins will wear the special one-off strip to raise money for the British Lung Foundation.

It is in support of club staff who have family members battling lung cancer.

Cheltenham Town have played in red and white for the last 130 years.

For one game only, the Robins are turning blue and it's all for a good cause.

The fiancée of fitness coach Ian Hutton was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, despite being a fitness fanatic and a non-smoker.

Manager Gary Johnson has also seen the disease affect a family member.

Against Crewe tomorrow, Cheltenham will be the boys in blue, with their special shirts featuring the logo of the British Lung Foundation rather than their usual sponsors.

The first team squad have even been training in blue this week to get used to wearing the unfamiliar colour.

With opponents Crewe sporting red shirts themselves tomorrow, it would be easy to get confused.

Cheltenham will be fundraising for charity at tomorrow's match at Whaddon Road, with the one-off match day shirts then being auctioned at a later date.

The Town fans are already getting behind the club's unique initiative, but the team will need to pick up three points at full-time to avoid feeling the same colour as their shirts.
