A pensioner has been left homeless after thieves stole her mobile home.

Sonia McColl's 10-tonne home was taken from a Devon haulage yard where it was being repaired.

Police said the 40ft (12m) long structure was taken by thieves who "knew what they were doing".

70-year-old Mrs McColl is now staying with friends and says her home wasn't insured when it was stolen.

Police are urgently seeking information following the theft of the motor home in Willand, near Cullompton.

The incident happened between 6pm on Wednesday 22 November and 6am on Thursday 23 November 2017 at The Yard on Willand Road, Cullompton.

Thieves entered a yard and loaded the 40ft static caravan on to a flat trailer and removed it from the yard.

The serial number of the motor home is SA11.049221E.
