The Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has apologised to the families of children who died because of meningitis.

Two teenagers from Bristol, died from meningitis within 18 months of each other.

16-year-old Izzy Gentry and 18-year-old George Zographou were pupils at St Brendan's Sixth Form College.

The strain of the disease the pair were killed by is not included in the vaccine freely available to teenagers.

Since their deaths in May 2016 and August 2017, both families have been campaigning for the vaccinations to change.
