David Cameron buys £2m house near Cornish beach

It was a frequent holiday location for David Cameron and his family during the years when he was Prime Minister.

Now the former premier is reported to have spent £2million on a house in North Cornwall close to Daymer Bay.

Mr Cameron and his wife Samantha were regularly pictured enjoying the beach at Polzeath.

His daughter was born seven years ago during one of their breaks when Samantha went into labour unexpectedly.

Florence Rose Endellion was christened with a name reflecting the village of St Endellion near Polzeath.
