Competitors announced for Commonwealth Games

The Team England athletics squad for the Commonwealth Games has been announced at it includes a number of competitors from the West Country.

  • Lucy Bryan, Pole Vault. Lives in Bristol and trains in Bath

  • Molly Caudery, Pole Vault. Lives and trains in Cornwall

  • Emily Diamond, 4x400m Relay. Lives in Frome and trains in Bath

  • Jack Green, 400m Hurdles. Lives and trains in Bath

  • David King, 110m Hurdles. From Plymouth and trains in Bath

  • Andy Pozzi, 110m Hurdles. Lives in Bath, trains in Loughborough

  • Jazmin Sawyers, Long Jump. Studied at Bristol University

  • Danny Talbot, 200m/4x200m relay. Lives in Trowbridge, trains in Loughborough

The 2018 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXI Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Gold Coast 2018 is being held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia between 4 and 15 April 2018.
