Man charged with arson after Liskeard fire
A man has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life following a fire at a flat in Liskeard earlier this month.
Two people had to be rescued when it broke out in a flat above Bradleys estate agents on Baytree Hill at about 6.20am on 13 October.
At its height, seven fire engines, an aerial ladder and an incident command unit tackled the fire. Much of the town was cordoned off during the morning.
48-year-old Gareth Levi Frew, of Baytree Hill is due to appear at Truro Crown Court on appear on 11 November.
