Police have released CCTV images of four men following an armed robbery at a Co-operative store in Bristol.

The robbery happened at the Filton Avenue store on Sunday, 8 October at 10.50pm.

Police are trying to identify the men as part of their investigation, some of who were armed with baseball bats.

They threatened staff, forcing them to lie on the floor, before making off with cash and cigarettes.

Avon & Somerset Police say they have carried out forensic examinations at the scene and have reviewed CCTV footage.

They are now appealing to the public:

"Do you recognise any of the distinctive clothing the men are wearing?"

"Did you see or hear anything which could help our inquiry?"
