Guy Martin and David Knight in 'last minute' team up for Weston Beach Races

Motorcycle legends Guy Martin and David Knight will be teaming up to compete at this weekend’s Weston Beach Race.

The pair’s “last minute decision” will see them take part in the two-man quad class, as well as the solo category at the event in Weston-super-Mare.

Knight, a four-time World Enduro champion and four-time AMA champion, is also claimed victory on six occasions at the solo race on the Weston sand dunes.

Meanwhile, Martin, who is well known to the public through starring in numerous engineering, speed and history television programmes, has also demonstrated his skill on two wheels, having finished on the podium of the Isle of Man TT 16 times.

Speaking of his decision to take part over both days, Knight said it is “going to be a good laugh with Guy” and that they were “just going out there to have some fun”.
