Parking charges set to be introduced across Dartmoor
Car parking charges are set to be introduced across Dartmoor after honesty boxes failed to raise enough money.
Charges were introduced in Princetown four years ago but other beauty spots across the moor have always been free with motorists encouraged to make a contribution.
Staff at the national park say the money being raised from parking charges will be used to improve facilities such as car parks.
Staff are hoping the new parking charges will raise more than £30,000.
The charges will be introduced from April 2018.
