Drug dealer jailed for more than 4 years

A drug dealer from Coleford, Gloucestershire has been jailed for four years and three months after officers executed warrants at two addresses and discovered heroin and crack cocaine.

Matthew England, 46, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and one count of possession with intent to supply class C drugs after the warrants on 29 June and 29 September last year.

Gloucestershire Constabulary officers first raided an address where England was residing on St John Street in Coleford and discovered weighing scales, heroin, crack cocaine, cannabis and five bottles of liquid methadone.

England was released on bail while these offences were investigated but he failed to answer it.

On 29 September last year officers then attended England's new address on Spout Lane in Coleford where he was found trying to hide pills.

The property was searched and £600 in cash was found along with 71 Diazepam tablets and Morphine tablets.

England also pleaded guilty to five counts of possession of drugs (three class A, one class B and one class C).
