More than 40 high street shops in Plymouth's Drake Circus have taken part in Autism Hour today as part of a national campaign.

For 60 minutes this morning, retailers dimmed their lights and turned off in-store music.

Autism Hour aims to make shopping a better experience for those with the condition.

The project follows research by the National Autistic Society that shows shopping can be challenging for autistic people.
