Royal Marines work with local police in Tortola following Hurricane Irma devastation
Marines from the Alpha Company have been working to move a collapsed radio mast within the police station in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
The radio mast has been blocking crucial access to other areas on the island.
40 Commando Royal Marines have been working with the local police in Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean, with a population of just over 23,900.
It has been devastated by Hurricane Irma, which has left at least four people in the British Virgin Islands dead.
The Alpha Company is based in Bristol, covering the South West and forms one of seven Royal Marines Cadet Companies within the Royal Marines Cadet Section of the Sea Cadet Corps.
It consists of around 350 cadets and 100 uniformed instructors.
