Record-breaking year for Norland nannies
A world famous nanny training college says this is an historic year for the institution.
Norland College in Bath is celebrating its 125th anniversary as it welcomes new students this week.
This year's intake is the largest in the college's history, with 103 students beginning studies.
As well as the high intake there are other college records being broken this week.
Four male students are beginning studies which is the highest number to enrol in the same year.
2017 also sees the first set of identical twins to study at Norland, with 18-year-olds Lauren and Abby Barnes from Hampshire enrolling.
Dr Janet Rose, Principal of Norland College says it's a "truly historic" year.
The college says bursaries for students who need financial support have more than doubled since 2014.
Dr Rose says Norland predicts 10% of students will be supported through bursaries by 2018.
Norland College says students have guaranteed employment opportunities after graduation and can expect to earn around £26,000 as a starting salary.
High-profile graduates of the college including Maria Borrallo, who acts as nanny to Prince George.
