Penzance's open air pool to stay open after record-breaking summer

The Jubilee Pool at Penzance is to stay open until the end of October for the first time in its eighty two year history.

The outdoor pool normally closes at the end of the school holidays. But it's had such a successful year, the trust which runs it has decided to extend the season.

The pool is an important spot for the local community - it saw a multi-million pound restoration after being nearly destroyed by storms in 2014.
