Businesses along Bath Place in Taunton are celebrating 40 years of Star Wars by knitting and crocheting objects related to the film.

Known as 'yarn bombing', the items are scattered along the road, on ledges, in bushes or simply on the street.

A 'yarn bomb' is done every year along Bath Place, one of the most historic roads in the county town, but residents say this Star Wars extravaganza is the first of its kind.
