Man charged with murder after stabbing in Bath

A man has been charged with murder after stabbing in Bath.

27-year-old Tashan Corpe was stabbed at about 4.30pm on Sunday 13 August at an address on Sedgemoor Road in Foxhill where he lived. He died shortly afterwards.

A post mortem examination found he died from a single stab wound to the chest.

Josh Farnham, aged 30, of Old Fosse Road, Bath, has been charged with murder, grievous bodily harm with intent and actual bodily harm. 

Rachael Smith, aged 42, of Sedgemoor Road, Bath, has also been charged with assisting an offender in relation to the murder.

Both are due to appear at Bristol Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday August 16.

Areas around Sedgemoor Road are still cordoned off and scenes will remain for at least another two days while evidence gathering continues.Det Insp Mike Buck, Senior Investigating Officer, said: "Our thoughts are with Tashan’s family at this tragic time."
