Good Samaritan who jumps into Harbour to rescue man returns to find phone stolen

A Good Samaritan who jumped into Bristol's Floating Harbour to save a man returned to find his mobile phone had been stolen.

A 56-year-old man and a police officer went into the water to rescue a man who had fallen from Bristol Bridge at 10.40pm on Sunday.

Before going into the water, the man put his mobile phone into his shoe but when he went back to get it afterwards it was gone.

Police are appealing for the public's help, asking you to call 101 with any information.
