Prison officer robbed of his uniform and baton
A prison officer has been robbed of his guard uniform and collapsible baton after leaving work in Dorset.
He was driving home in Shaftesbury at 9pm on Sunday 9 July following his shift at Guys Marsh prison.
He pulled over to retrieve his mobile phone from his car boot so he could call his wife and a silver Volkswagen Golf stopped in front of him.
One man got out of the vehicle and stabbed the prison officer in the shoulder with a small, sharp object believed to be a small knife or a key.
A second man opened the victim's car boot and stole his guard uniform andcollapsible baton.
Both men returned to the Golf and drove away. The victim was treated for minor cuts and bruises by paramedics.
