Martin Clunes: "I'll never get a better job than this"

Doc Martin star Martin Clunes has spoken of his love for Cornwall in an exclusive interview with ITV News West Country.

The Dorset actor is currently in Port Isaac filming series 8 of the hit ITV drama.

Martin says he spends hours gazing out to sea during filming and never wants the series to end.

Officially series nine is due to be the last, but Martin told ITV news he won't rule out a tenth.

''Well never say never I've been saying that's the last since about the fourth series so now I don't want it to ever stop, I don't know we'll see. We might have just done everything we could do after series 9, it's quite a struggle to keep it fresh and not repeat ourselves.''
