Darren Osborne charged over Finsbury Park terror attack

Police have charged Darren Osborne with terrorism-related murder and attempted murder over the Finsbury Park van attack.

The 47 year old, originally from Weston-super-Mare, spoke only to confirm his name when he appeared in court today.

He was arrested shortly after the incident outside a north London mosque in the early hours of Monday and has been remanded in custody today.

One man died and nine other people were taken to hospital after a van crashed into worshippers who had been attending Ramadan night prayers.
