It has been a busy weekend for the RNLI lifeboat crews in Weston-super-Mare who have attended five callouts over the last two days.

Volunteers have been based in the station all day while the the town played host to hundreds of thousands of visitors for the weekend's Air Show.

On Saturday crews attended four incidents within Weston Bay and assisted two people with first aid when they attended the station.

Then, on Sunday morning the Weston lifeboat crew was deployed to Birnbeck Island, where two people had been cut off.
