MegaMorph pops up in Bristol

Aardman's plasticine creation is brought to life in all his 3m tall glory. MegaMorph has appeared outside the Bristol Children's Hospital to mark the start of a surprise exhibition Morph: Still Naughty at 40! to celebrate Morph's 40th birthday.

The exhibition will run from 14 July – 5 September at The Gromit Unleashed Shop in The Mall at Cribbs Causeway. There will be a showcase of 20 original Morph sculptures designed by the model's creator Peter Lord.

All profits from the exhibition and merchandise will go towards Bristol children’s hospital charity The Grand AppealA gentle giant will be touring the streets of his home city Bristol this June, stopping at five landmark locations throughout the month of June before finishing his tour at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway on 10 July.

Co-creators of Morph and co-founders of Aardman, David Sproxton and Peter Lord said:

‘Morph: Still Naughty at 40!’ opens at 9.30am on Friday 14 July and follows on from The Grand Appeal’s successful public arts trails ‘Gromit Unleashed’ and ‘Shaun in the City’ which drew 2.3m people to Bristol, raising over £8 million to date for sick children.

The Grand Appeal’s next arts trail with Aardman is planned for summer 2018.
