Liberal Democrats to start Cornwall Council coalition talks

The Liberal Democrat Group on Cornwall Council has said it will start talks with other groups to form a coalition to run the local authority.

The Conservative group won the most seats at the elections earlier this month, but did not gain overall control of the council. Last night they ruled out a deal with the independents.

Now, the Liberal Democrats are opening discussions with other groups on the council.
