Body found in search for missing Bristol man
Police searching for a missing man from Bristol have found a body.
The man's body was discovered in a field close to Bramble Drive in Bristol at around 5.30pm yesterday, Monday 8 May.
Although a formal identification process is yet to take place, officers believe the body is of 46-year-old Jeremy Gibbs. He was last seen in Sneyd Park in the city on Saturday 29 April.
The death is being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem examination is being carried out to determine its cause.
Jeremy’s family have been informed and Avon and Somerset Police say their thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
Police say they are continuing to investigate the death.
