Car reverses off 60ft cliff in Cornwall

An elderly man has been airlifted to hospital after his car fell down a cliff at New Polzeath in North Cornwall.

The man was freed from his car by emergency services and treated on the beach.

It's believed he accidentally reversed his car off the cliff and it plunged 60 feet onto the beach.

Police, coastguards, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service, Cornwall Air Ambulance, the ambulance service and RNLI attended to the scene.
