The historic hotel destroyed by fire: six months on

Six months on from the fire that devastated a town and destroyed an iconic local landmark, our cameras returned to see how the recovery was going.

While the fire almost took away a historic gem in the town, it has brought about some good as University of Exeter Historian, Dr Todd Gray explains.

Although a couple of shops still aren't open and there is a long road to recovery for the hotel, the journey is well underway.
