Taunton Flower Show to change venue after 166 years over new charges on current site

Organisers of Taunton Flower Show are looking for a new venue for their event.

It follows a decision by Taunton Deane Borough Council to charge for the use of Vivary Park, which has hosted the show since 1851.

A petition to keep the show at its current venue has so far been signed by nearly 300 people.

ITV News West Country has approached Taunton Deane Borough Council for comment.
