Shakin' Stevens: back on tour and playing in Bath tonight

The UK's biggest selling singles artist of the 1980s - Shakin' Stevens - is playing in Bath tonight.

The veteran rocker from the Forest of Dean who brought us a string of hits in the 1980s including Green Door, A Rockin' Good Way and Merry Christmas Everyone is back with a new album and is starting an extensive tour of the UK.

His appearance in Bath comes 36 years after his first single reached number one in the charts.

He's been working hard on his new album, 'Echoes of our Times' - which he first put out on the radio playlists anonymously.

But, despite being in the business for more than 40 years, he still gets a little nervous before performing.
