Extreme runners tackle one of Dorset's toughest challenges
Seventy extreme runners have set off from the village of Charmouth near Lyme Regis this morning to tackle one of the toughest challenges along the Jurassic Coast.
"The Oner" is an 82-mile course including ten thousand feet of uphill climbs, which participants have to complete in twenty-four hours.
Gary Fisher decided to take part when his friend revealed he had Motor Neurone Disease. He's trying to raise money for the MND association. which is looking to find a cure.
Only fifty percent of competitors usually manage to complete the oner - Gary's determined to be one of them.
