Bristol's tallest swings are beyond repair
Bristol's tallest swing set will soon disappear after being declared beyond repair.
The swings in Greville Smyth Park in Ashton have been there since the 1960s and Bristol City Council inspectors say they are falling apart.
The council has said that there is no money for a replacement so local residents are planning to fundraise for a new facility.
Local councillor Celia Phipps is a member of the Friends of Greville Smyth Park and hopes everyone will come together to fund a replacement.
Parents in the park told ITV News West Country that they don't want to see the swings go as they are so popular with their children.
